The vast concept of "society" and the invisible barriers it creates-
we are always forced to confront them and continue living in spite of them.
In a life and a world that will one day come to an end,
what are we capable of doing?
And what kind of world should we strive to create?

These were the thoughts on my mind as I made this song.
It carries the memories of my teenage years that I loved and never want to forget,
and the cruel realities of the world that must never be forgotten.

I chose "semicolon" as the title, a symbol that holds both the contextual meaning of "connecting time and meaning from the past to the future," and the cultural meaning of "inheriting a story."
