It was a long time ago that I became a mother.
I went to the house of my best friend, who is already a mother, and was shocked to see her enjoying songs for children with her child.
I can't do it myself. I also thought that I would never be able to act in such a motherly manner.
Despite these concerns, when I gave birth, the world around me was filled with nursery rhymes and children's songs, and before I knew it, I was singing them myself.
Of course, that doesn't mean it's not fun. As a mother, I can't help but feel happy when I see the joy on the faces of my children.
But it's for the children. Not for myself.

The time I first came across Yuka's song "Love Song for Children" It was a shock.
A song that makes me sing love from the heart, along with jazz and bossa nova that I love. And love for children!
When you're raising a child, the love that overflows isn't always warm. There are times when raising children that doesn't go as planned can be exhausting. But at times like that, when I listen to Yuka Kudo's music,
First, I was healed by the singing voice,
Next, the lyrics bring back warmth.

The sun, onions, radish, puddles, teruteru bozu, and the night sky.
A light shines on such an ordinary day.
Ah, that's right. I love my children so much.
It makes me feel that way again.
This may be because Yuka herself lives her daily life as a mother just like the rest of us. As a parent, there is no song I can relate to more.
How lucky are those who come across Yuka Kudo's album?
Even if I feel self-loathing because I can't be a kind mom, there are people by my side who understand. And love will surely overflow again.
I would be happy if as many mothers as possible picked up this album. To be honest, I think so.
