Nankurunaisa ~Serenity~
Annisya, SHISHINOODOSHI
Does it make sense now?
When you laid back take a breath to move faster
You might wanna rush your way
This aint a race
No one would take your place
I know you’ve been hurt
Fighting for your turn
You might not like it
Just breathe
Tada jiyuni
You’re in the right way only if you could see
And other times you’d fall back now baby
Nankurunaisa
Tidak apa apa. Key
Don't stop
じゃなくてBack to the basic. (I see)
Music Lane
Fast how the time flies
Aint got no time to look back and regret now
The lesson’s learned already
This aint a race
You could slow down your pace
I know you’ve been hurt
Fighting for your turn
You might not like it
Just breathe
Tada jiyuni
You’re in the right way only if you could see
And other times you’d fall back now baby

Nankurunaisa ~Serenity~
Annisya, SHISHINOODOSHI
Born from the co-writing camp of Music Lane Festival Okinawa, the international showcase festival based in Okinawa, Trans Asia Resonance is a collaboration project bringing together outstanding artists from across Asia and Japanese creators.
This track features Indonesian R&B singer Annisya, Okinawan mixture band Shishi no Odoshi, and Japanese songwriters Koriva, Sumire, and KISIMEN. The result is a smooth yet quietly powerful song inspired by the Okinawan phrase "Nankurunaisa" - a saying that expresses the belief that things will work out in the end. The song was created in a relaxed and uplifting atmosphere, reflecting the spirit of the phrase itself.
When Koriva played the mellow track he had prepared, Annisya immediately stepped up to the microphone and began sharing one emotional melody idea after another. Once the lyrical theme had been decided, the main vocal recording was completed remarkably quickly - even before lunch break.
Later that day, members of Shishi no Odoshi (MC: TACK and drummer Odo) arrived after their live performance. After discussing the direction of the song, TACK later contributed his rap part remotely, completing the track.
Annisya's vocals blend Japanese and English phrases such as "Nankurunaisa" and "Just Be Free," while TACK's rap introduces the Indonesian phrase "Tidak apa apa," which carries a similar meaning to Nankurunaisa - "It's okay," or "Things will be alright."
This song is the result of a unique encounter in Okinawa, where artists and creators from different cultures happened to come together at the same place and time, creating something new through mutual respect and collaboration.
We hope you can relax, let go of your worries, and enjoy the music.
