Where We Belong

Kuquli

"Bouquet" is an indie-rock album rooted in alternative rock, moving between post-punk, post-hardcore, emo, and shoegaze.

Two guitars trade roles between riffs and chords, holding a grounded mid-tempo center while opening the view at key moments.
Distortion is placed not as a "wall," but as a "swell," creating a soundscape where depth and a hard-edged outline coexist.

Artist Profile

  • Kuquli

Formed in Tokyo in 2024, centered around Takahashi Ryosuke (eleki, ex. ORANGE HEADS PRODUCTIVE, ex. Flower Noise). A rock band that combines a wide range of indie rock with Japanese lyrics. Their first album, "Kuquli," was released in May 2024. Their sound, reminiscent of '80s and '90s indie rock, was well received by some enthusiasts. Their second album, "Bouquet," was released in January 2025, but was temporarily cancelled due to restructuring. It is scheduled for a re-release on February 20, 2026. They are renewing their image as a band with even greater creativity and confidence.
