• Mechanical Synthetic Orchestra

  Mechanical Synthetic Orchestra is a music project born from the idea of bringing together analog synthesizers of the 1980s and VOCALOID, the singing voice synthesis software that emerged in the 2000s. Imagine a VOCALOID idol thrashing her hair in front of a massive modular synthesizer, unleashing techno and trance. Built around this vision of 'Retro-Futurism', the project uses vocal synthesis to bring to life an intergenerational collaboration that could never have happened in reality. Mechanical Synthetic Orchestra debuted in October 2025 with an EP rooted in minimal techno. Starting with vocal synthesis music, the project has since traversed a wide range of genres, including techno, trance, pop, solo piano, and synthwave. In recent years, its sound has expanded into hard rock, characterized by weighty, powerful guitar work. Handling everything from music production, songwriting, composition, and arrangement to artwork, Mechanical Synthetic Orchestra explores the possibilities of musical expression beyond the boundaries of genre and technique, weaving together a distinctive universe filled with intricate layers of foreshadowing.
