On July 29, 2024, the first official recording from "Hida Onkyo Ha" will be released. It will come out through the independent label "Hida Onkyo Ha Records." The album is titled *Blue to Green*. Rather than a polished studio production, it's a raw live recording that captures the band's true essence of complete improvisation. This release features a live performance held at painter Mikio Ban's solo exhibition, *Forms of Line and Color*, in Hida-Takayama. The music is both thrilling and chill, ambient yet noisy-a seeming contradiction that forms a unique connection, embodying connection itself. The result is an album that feels like the firing of synapses. Special guest appearances include Misaki Ishiwata, a trumpet player from the Shibusa Shirazu Orchestra, featured on tracks 3 and 4. Mastering was handled by the trusted sound engineer "kabamix," a go-to for Hida Onkyo Ha. The group plans to continue releasing live recordings as part of the Color to Color series.
