Inspired by The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter, one of Japan's oldest surviving narratives, "Kaguyahime - Don't Take Me Away -" reimagines the heart of Princess Kaguya through a fusion of shamisen and Detroit Trap.

Born from bamboo, praised for her beauty, and pursued by men offering impossible treasures, Kaguya spends her life surrounded by people who desire her.

Yet no one asks the question that matters:

"Where do you want to live?"

Cherry blossoms fall in spring.
Fireflies dance in summer.
In autumn, insects sing.
In winter, she watches the snow.

On Earth, everything eventually disappears.

And perhaps that is precisely what makes it beautiful.

By the time Kaguya learns how to cry, how to love, and how painful it is to say goodbye, the moon has already risen to take her home.

If wearing the celestial robe means losing every sorrow and attachment, what happens to the happiness tied to those memories?

She chooses an imperfect night of love over a perfect eternity.

Haunting shamisen melodies intertwine with heavy 808s and Detroit Trap rhythms, portraying a princess quietly resisting a destiny she never chose.

She does not fear leaving.

She fears forgetting that she ever loved this world.

The moon is beautiful tonight.

And that is exactly why she cannot bear to look at it.
