Ultima is the latest EP from rapper/beatmaker NF Zessho, who has been drawing significant attention through steady single releases, numerous guest appearances, and his involvement in the Oll Korrect collective.

This project marks his return to a longer format since 2021's Phytoplankton. Aside from "Cicada 3301," produced by his Oll Korrect comrade Yoshinuma, NF Zessho handled the production for the entire EP himself. By featuring no guest artists and focusing entirely on his own lyricism, this release serves as a high-purity distillation of where he stands as a rapper today.

    ラップとビートメイクのみならず、ミキシングやマスタリングまで自ら手掛け、随所にこだわりの詰まったサウンドスケープを描き出すNFZesshoは福岡出身のアーティスト。2010年代初頭からフリーのミックステープなどを発表し、インディーでリリースした2作のアルバムを経て 2018年にAru-2や唾奇といったゲストを迎えて制作された『CURE』でシーンから注目される存在になった。自身の作品をコンスタントにリリースするかたわら、近年では自身が所属するコレクティブ「Oll Korrect」としての活動、さらにはRed Bullのサイファー企画「RASEN」への登場も話題となり、尽きることのないクリエイティビティを駆使して新たな作品を生み出し続けている。
