Currently based in Tokyo, SAEKI HOSHIYA created this project in his hometown of Togo, Aichi, where he was born and raised.

The title, *Country Boy*, literally means "a boy from the countryside," while also representing the environment in which he grew up and the values and spirit he developed there. More than just the title of a single project, it is a defining phrase that will become an essential part of how he is understood as an artist moving forward.

From "Inaka Sodachi" previously released as a lead single, to "Everyday,"where he casually raps about the ordinary moments spent with his hometown friends, a deep love for his hometown, friends, and family runs consistently throughout the project.

While his previous releases have often explored introspective themes that lay bare his inner thoughts and emotions, this project sees him embracing a lighter, more laid-back style than ever before. Beneath that effortless approach, however, lies his unwavering passion and firm belief in the future he envisions. Blending a natural, relaxed vibe with an inner strength that runs deep, *Country Boy* reveals a new side of SAEKI HOSHIYA as an artist.
