Music does not always need to face the future alone.

It can move forward while holding on to every step already taken.
That is the feeling FIELD OF VIEW is placing into sound right now.

The new song La La La La The Next Forever is built around a melody born in recent years, carefully reassembled through a present-day sensibility. There is no momentum that imitates youth, no words forced to sound new. What remains are the views that only time can reveal, and the quiet spaces that cannot easily be put into words. All of it blends naturally into the music.

Once, the word Forever represented a longing for the future.
It belonged to a time when we were still becoming who we were, believing in possibilities stretching far ahead.
But the Next Forever this song offers is different.

It is time that continues gently, without denying the road already traveled.
It is not meant to prove anything, nor to reclaim what was lost.
It is sound born from accepting who we are, standing here now, exactly as we are.

FIELD OF VIEW reached their 30th anniversary in 2025.
Then came 2026, 30th Anniversary +1.

This year is not an afterglow of celebration. It is a time shaped by everything that has been lived through: the breakup, the restart, and all the years in between. It exists to quietly confirm where we stand now. The new song reflects that present position with the greatest honesty.

At the same time, there are things the band has chosen not to change.

DAN DAN Kokoro Hikareteku 30th Ver. continues to sound while holding firmly to the core of the song first released in 1996. What was etched into that music was not perfected strength, but the impulse to move forward while still unfinished. Anxiety, hesitation, and hope all blended into a youthful intensity. That is why the song has remained so deeply tied to peoples memories.

Even after thirty years, the essence of how it is sung has not changed.

The key is not lowered. The expression is not overly refined.
This is not a refusal to grow, but a choice to remain faithful to the memories of those who received this song somewhere along the course of their lives. The spontaneous choruses that arise naturally on stages around the world quietly tell us that this feeling is still shared.

The new song La La La La The Next Forever speaks of the present.
DAN DAN Kokoro Hikareteku 30th Ver. reconnects with the origin.

These two are not opposites.
Both are sounds that can only exist after fully accepting the passage of time.

If this is the first time you have come across these words,
if you are seeing the name FIELD OF VIEW again after many years,
that alone is enough.

FIELD OF VIEW has not returned to sell nostalgia.
We are not decorating the past, nor promising the future.

We are simply placing music born from where we stand now beside the core we chose to protect.

If that sound touches something within you,
it may be the beginning of the Next Forever.
