筆を取る in my box 煙舞う

Bug Fresh, a rapper active mainly in Saitama and Tokyo, and trackmaker P-bush have released the EP "East Side Story."

The EP, which originates from the pair's hometown of Higashi-Urawa (East side), Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture, kicks off with "All day," showcasing two worlds, shifting beats from boom bap to trap. The second track, "ITADAKU," uses gambling terms like 456 and 123 to describe a meritocracy that's all about taking all the luck with you.

The third track, "KAMIKAZE," features fellow Saitama rapper Laid B from the Tokyo-based Crew Down Town Dogs, and explores social issues and unique Japanese culture with a Japanese-style track. The fourth track, "Border Line," is about a life of upward mobility.

Up until now, the duo have showcased skillful raps with eccentric tones, but this time they've taken a complete turn, showcasing a track featuring auto-tune.
From the fifth track onwards, he welcomes his younger brother, Saitama rapper Arma, as a guest. The song features "Agari," a catchy flow over a spiky, rage-infused beat with a hook that features an easy-to-remember phrase, followed by "Follow Me," a melodic drill that honestly expresses his struggles and intentions regarding his musical career, the music video for which was released in advance.

Be sure to check out Bug Fresh's energetic lyrics and powerful words, set against a delicate track by P-bush, which makes it hard to believe he's been around for less than a year.
