The Tokyo-based music unit Kommune and rapper Reugene have released a double-named single, "tempus".

The single will be released by CLEWAXING, the creative label to which Kommune belongs.

  • Kommune

    A music unit based in Tokyo. Composed of vocalist meyumo and beatmaker/guitarist Konfig. Based on alternative R&B and electronica, Konfig's beats, which develop tracks with a unique heaviness and fluid sound, combine with meyumo's husky and mellow vocals to create a fresh and innovative sound. In November 2025, they released their 1st album, "LUCA." In September 2025, they won an audition and performed at the Ringo Music Festival 2025. In December 2025, they held the Kommune Asia Tour 2025 (Indonesia, Philippines, Tokyo). Several tracks released in January 2025 were picked up by London music radio station Reprezent (107.3 FM), and the single "Flamma," released in February of the same year, was featured on the "New Music Friday" playlist by NPR Music, the American music media outlet famous for Tiny Desk. Furthermore, in April 2026, Tunecore Japan listed them in its "Independent Artist 100" list, which selects artists who symbolize the Japanese independent scene in 2026, generating buzz both domestically and internationally.

    Reugene born in 2000 and based in Tokyo. He has a reputation for Tokyo style, which is mainly centered around the dance music scene and extends beyond hip-hop. In July 2024, he will release his first 1st EP 'Asobiba Hiroba'. At the 'Asobiba Hiroba Release Party' held at Shimokitazawa SPREAD, the venue was filled with excitement as they performed with SADEXPRESS. His unique rhyme/flow is applicable to any genre, from R&B to soul to 2step to 4/4.
