MY FRIEND

I wrote a song about my memories of my beloved dog when I was a child.
I had trouble fitting in at school back then, and I remember the fun times we had together as he was always there for me. And then there's the contradiction of how, as I grew up, I started to neglect spending time with my beloved dog, but he always stayed by my side and comforted me when I was sad.
I wrote a song about those memories of my dog, who was both family and my best friend.
