Zn
Zn is a solo artist from Osaka who began his musical career in 2026. Rooted in hip-hop, he creates music by capturing fragmented memories and sensations drawn from his everyday life and his experience of moving to Tokyo. His music explores memories and emotions before they take shape as a clear narrative. Fleeting scenes that emerge in everyday life, along with feelings that are difficult to put into words, are translated into lyrics and sound, quietly connecting with the listener's own memories and physical sensations. Completed in January 2026, his debut EP moratorium delves deeper into this perspective and marked his first live performance, appearing alongside OUNCE Records labelmate Mokcians in a band set. In July 2026, Zn released TOKYO, a single preceding the EP. The track captures the sensations he experienced while living in Tokyo, transforming personal memories embedded in the city into sound. Moving between the city and the individual, the present and memory, reality and ambiguity, Zn transforms his own experiences into hip-hop.
