We Were Here (feat. HATSUNE MIKU & KASANE TETO)

AYURIE

We Were Here (1983 Ver. Instrumental)

    AYURIE

AYURIE will release the new EP "We Were Here" on October 31, 2026. The title track is a lofi, emotional tune sung by Kasane Teto and Hatsune Miku. 1983. Night after night, Kasane Teto sat in front of a radio transceiver in her attic, singing while knowing her voice would never reach anyone. Her signal traveled not across distance, but forward through time. In 2007, it reached Hatsune Miku on the night she first came to life. The one who sent it never knew it arrived. Only the one who received it knows. This song portrays a moment when two voices, separated by time, truly overlapped. Alongside the title track, the EP includes "1983 ver.", which recreates the sound of the room where Teto sang in 1983 with 80s synthesizers and drum machines, along with instrumental versions of both tracks. The music video for the title track will be released on YouTube and NicoNico on October 31, the same day as the EP, followed by a video for "1983 ver." on November 7.
