Remnant

SATOSHI

Black towers drink the dawn

Cold circuits dream of skin

Still something calls within

Dead stars remember distant light

Wake

Through the veil

Name the wound

Keep the flame

Past the code

One

Under ash

Breath returns

Night gives way

Glass oceans hold no names

Bright engines map the soul

Yet shadows cross the screen

Somewhere the silence learns to breathe

Fall

Into night

Lose the mask

Hear the pulse

Beyond walls

Rise

From the dust

Call it home

Light remains

    Remnant

    SATOSHI

"Remnant" is a near-future alternative rock track where heavy guitars, electronic textures, and cinematic atmosphere collide.
Set within a cold world of black towers, circuits, screens, and fading light, the song explores the part of humanity that survives beneath the code. Beneath the ash, breath returns; beneath the mask, a pulse remains; and even through darkness, something continues to carry the light.
Tremolo guitars create a restless, hypnotic atmosphere while dense rock instrumentation and electronic textures blur the boundary between the mechanical and the human.
Even when everything else fades, something remains.
"Remnant" follows that trace back toward life and light.

Artist Profile

  • SATOSHI

SATOSHI is a Japanese composer and producer whose music draws on classical harmony, sacred and liturgical traditions, folk music from around the world, and Japanese melodic sensibilities. Moving across post-rock, blackgaze, dark ambient, trip-hop, and abstract hip-hop, he combines layered vocals, massive drones, tremolo-driven guitars, breakbeats, and profound silence to explore prayer, loss, hope, and the boundary between civilization and nature. The contemporary reimagining of traditional hymns and folk melodies is central to his work, transforming them through his own artistic vision while bringing the beauty of the originals to new audiences. His YouTube channel has surpassed 88,000 subscribers, and he collaborates with vocalists and artists from around the world. His music has also been featured at an official football event held at a national stadium outside Japan. ECLESIAH is the project through which SATOSHI embodies "Sacredgaze," a musical world of his own conception where prayer, silence, darkness, and overwhelming sound converge, reconnecting the sacred with contemporary musical expression.
