Lupus

The noble individuality that cannot be lost resonates and becomes sound, like wolves howling to each other and recognizing each other even when far apart.

Lupusu was formed by Jun Feiniwa and Seiichi Kuroda with the hope that artists with unique personalities, active in a variety of projects and scenes, would be able to release themselves without any hesitation.

As the name "Lupusu" in Latin suggests, the members are active in a wide range of territories, but are attracted to each other's sound, The ambient and fantastical "stillness" that resonates with them and the "movement" that weaves in alternative mental images are colored by their transparent voices and distinctive chorus work, creating a landscape of their own.

"Utsuroi Hama ni Yosete"

This story belongs to someone close to me, to you, a stranger, and to myself.
We are alive today.
We pretend as if things are already back to normal.
But is it really so?
Can things that have been worn to shreds, things that have once been broken, really be put back together?
I don't think so.
We are alive today because we have come through something.
We are here today because we have been hurt, broken, sometimes stopped, sometimes on our knees, sometimes falling down, but still getting back up.
What is broken can never be completely put back together.
I have managed to get here with the help of someone else, and with the help of myself and others.
I don't want to simply dismiss it as being back to normal.
I have suffered.
I have fought.
That's why I'm here now.
I don't want to forget that.
I don't want to forget that, just as the skin is renewed by scraping, peeling, replacing, and reinforcing.
I wanted to deliver the story of the damaged things, the lost time, until they are able to walk again.

I hope it will reach your heart.
