SORA-NO-NAKIGOE
-SORA NO NAKIGOE- is an Okinawan singer-songwriter unit consisting of YUTO and Na-ri. We were singing solo, but in 2015 we met at American Village, a sacred place for street live performances in Okinawa, and formed the unit. In the beginning, we named our unit SOAK, hoping that our singing voice would touch the hearts of those who listen to ours. Over the past five years, we have sold approximately 7,000 hand-sold CDs at street live performances and one-man shows in Okinawa and other prefectures. YUTO sings with a whisper and high tone voice, and Na-ri who sings with a projecting and enveloping voice. The unique "mist voice harmony" created by these two singers attracts the hearts of people not only in Japan but also in many other countries. In 2020, at the timing when Covid-19 became popular, they suspended their unit activities and started solo activities with the goal of improving each other's skills. After live distribution and solo music releases, they resumed their unit activities in 2022. The name was changed from "SOAK" to " -SORA NO NAKIGOE- " Through this opportunity, with a single mind to evolve the unit and a wish to spread their songs to more people with their voices, which are natural healing like the smoothing sound of an animal'voice. Active mainly in Okinawa Prefecture, but also performs live in major cities throughout Japan and distributes videos on SNS.
