前作より約2年半ぶりとなる3rd.シングル『Crash and Burn』の発売が決定！！表題曲のM-1「. crash and burn」はwinnieの真骨頂とも言える攻撃的で疾走感溢れるストレートなロックサウンドの中にioriとokujiの男女混声のツインヴォーカルが映える、ライブの盛り上がりを想像するに容易いキラーチューンに仕上がっており、M-2「. after morning glance」はスウェディッシュ・ポップを思わせるやわらかなサウンドと優しいハーモニーが心地良く、まさにwinnieを構築する表裏一体のサウンドルーツが垣間見られる原点回帰とも言える作品になっている。

winnie was formed in 2002. A four-piece band that plays a unique alternative rock sound with a fast-paced rock sound, clear and beautiful twin male and female vocal melody lines, and sometimes mixed chorus work of three or more voices. They are strongly influenced by American emo rock, but also sublimate various genres such as grunge, Swedish pop, and old-fashioned HR/HM.
