The motif of this piece is based on the scene where the deity Amaterasu hides in Ama-no-Iwato, and Amenouzume dances with a tub in front of the Iwato. His dance leads all the deities to laugh in unison as their laugher echoes through the heaven and earth. The dance of Amanouzume is expressed in a lively rhythm. While based on a catchy melody, Japanese musical scales are scattered throughout the piece to create a blend of Japanese and Western styles.
