久しぶりに降りた駅
雨上がりの午後だった
見慣れたはずの街並みが
少し小さく見えた
傘をたたんだバス停で
なじんだ名前を呼ぶ声
振り向けば あの頃のまま
笑う君が立っていた
「ずいぶん遠くへ行ったね」と
肩を叩いて笑った
言葉よりも懐かしさが
胸の奥にこみあげる
雨あとの バス停で
僕らはまた出会えた
過ぎた日々は帰らないけど
笑顔だけは変わらない
ふるさとを離れてから
いくつ季節が過ぎただろう
忘れたふりしていた夢が
静かにこころでさわぎだす
角の小さな喫茶店
今も同じ椅子がある
昔よく叱られた親父さんが
「元気だったか」と笑った
あの頃いつも騒いでた
仲間もみんな歳をとり
それぞれの道を歩いて
それぞれの明日を生きている
「またいつでも帰ってこい」
何気ないその一言
遠く離れて暮らしてた
心に灯りがともる
雨あとの街角に
夕焼けが滲んでいた
変わってしまった景色の中
変わらないものがあった
ふるさとを離れた日
見送ってくれた人たち
今なら少しわかるんだ
愛されていたんだと
帰る場所なんて
もうないと思っていた
だけど名前を呼ぶ声が
ここにあると教えてくれた
雨あとのバス停で
僕は空を見上げた
苦労した経験でさえ
無駄じゃなかったと思えた
またいつか帰ってくる
約束なんていらないさ
「元気でな」と手を振る君に
笑って手を振り返す
雨のにおいが残る街
バスが静かに走り出す
ふるさとはいつも心の中

At the bus stop after the rain.

A visit back to my hometown after a long time.
At a bus stop just after the rain, a familiar voice catches my ear.
A friend I laughed with in childhood.
Someone who once scolded me.
And the townsfolk who welcome me with a casual, warm word.
Though the townscape may have changed a little,
the smiles there remain exactly as they were back then.
It is only because I have lived far away and weathered the passing seasons
that I truly realize the warmth of having a place to come home to.
Watching the bus pull away along the rain-dampened road,
the protagonist reflects quietly:
The path I have walked was certainly not in vain.
A sense of nostalgia, and a touch of bittersweet longing.
And a small spark of hope for the future.
A song that resonates deeply now that we are adults,
capturing the heartfelt connections between people and their hometown.

I listen to all kinds of genres and am completely immersed in music! I handle everything from composing and writing lyrics to arranging and recording.
