This summer, DJ NAG-TA released "The Ugly Duckling," the final piece in his five-part series. Based on his experiences of discovering hip-hop on the streets of Kawasaki and Shibuya, this work boldly portrays a raw and previously untold reality of street life. The lyrics intricately weave in not only his perspective but also the voices of women who share similar experiences, creating a rich tapestry of diversity and empathy. Throughout the track, the energy of transformation for both himself and his surroundings is powerfully conveyed. The message resonating with listeners is one of beautiful struggle and rebirth through hip-hop. This emotional and dramatic release is something you must experience for yourself.
