    Born in Kyoto in 1981, DJ/Producer His rave-like and aggressive DJ performances based on Drum&Bass and Bass Music have been well received by crowds in Japan and abroad. He has been rocking various parties in Japan and abroad, including the prestigious Drum&Bass Sessions, D'n'B Booth in Metamorphosis, D'n'B Party DNBBQ in Sydney, Australia, and PhatPhunk in Bangkok, Thailand. Since moving his activities to Okinawa in 2014, he has been active in the Okinawan club scene as the main DJ of D'n'B Party RAWFUSION, the only one in the prefecture. In recent years, he has also been focusing on music production, releasing music from Canada's Monkey Dub Recordings, BassFace Audio, and U.S.'s Multikill Recordings, etc. In 2022, he will release his 1st EP "Unleash" from DJ BAKU's KAIKOO MUSIC.

    Born 1978 in Tokyo, Japan, he is a DJ, trackmaker, producer, and turntablist. He started his career as a DJ at the age of 16, and in the late 1990s, he played in the hip-hop group Hannya with Hannya and Rumi. After the group disbanded, he released the mixtape "KAIKOO WITH SCRATCH 1999" on DIS-DEFENSE DISC, a label he founded himself in 1999. In 2001, he participated in the DJ KRUSH NIKE "Presto" music project. In 2005, he released the DVD "KAIKOO", a film documenting BAKU and Tokyo's independent music scene, and in 2006, he released the album "SPINHEDDZ" (which was released in 2008 on N2O Records by DJ Starscream of Slipknot and Omar of MarsVolta). In 2006, he released the album "SPINHEDDZ" (which was also released in the US by N2O Records, led by DJ Starscream of Slipknot and Omar of MarsVolta), and in 2008, he released his second album "DHARMA DANCE" from POPGROUP and the song "AKBAH ATTACK" was used in the Cannes Film Festival. In 2009, he released "THE 12JAPS" featuring 12 of Japan's leading rappers, and the official mix CD "JAPADAPTA". In 2010, BAKU initiated and organized "KAIKOO POPWAVE FESTIVAL'10", an urban music festival organized by "POPGROUP" at the special stage of Harumi Cruise Terminal in Tokyo, attracting more than 10,000 people over two days, making it the largest scale event ever held at the terminal since 2005. In 2012, he formed a unit with KYONO (ex.THE MAD CAPSULE MARKETS) to perform at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL'12. In the same year, he released his album "NEO TOKYO RAVE STYLE", which became a hot topic with the participation of UK artists such as Ryo (Crystal Lake), Benji (Skindred), and RAGGA TWINS. He established KAIKOO Co., Ltd. in 2018. In the same year, he joined the Turntable Orchestra formed by US and Japanese artists at the Louvre Abu-Dhabi and performed for two days. In 2019, he was in charge of the music for the movie "VIDEOPHOBIA" directed by Daisuke Miyazaki. Album "K.A.I.K.O.O" was released in 2020, and in 2021, he provided the Remix for the official Pokémon Youtube channel DJ Pikachu Lightning. Remix provided.
