Dolly Varden
Music with conviction. Style with simplicity. Dolly Varden is a rock band from Kochi, Japan. Their music transforms difficult emotions and the quiet sense of not belonging into the strength to keep moving forward. Through powerful band performances and an unpretentious approach, they create music that resonates with each listener on a personal level. Formed in Kochi in 2022, the band steadily built its reputation through headline shows across the region, culminating in a successful solo performance at Kochi Prefectural Culture Hall in 2025. Their first full length album, EUREKA, showcased the band's wide ranging musical identity. In 2026, they relocated to Tokyo, where they continue expanding their audience through a series of single releases and an active live schedule. On stage, Dolly Varden delivers powerful live performances that move audiences across genres and generations.
