民族とは、違いをつくるためのものではなく、受け継がれてきた文化や歴史、祈りを未来へつないでいくものです。
この楽曲は、三冊の国語辞典に記された「民族」の語釈と、一つの実体験から生まれました。
日本人としての誇りを抱きながらも、異国の人の誠実さと優しさに触れ、「優しさに民族は関係なかった」と心から感じた出来事。その体験は、人は血や国境だけでなく、出会う人や土地によっても育てられていくのだという思いへとつながりました。
レゲエを軸に、ソウルとゴスペルの温もりを重ねた『民族の歌』は、違いを消すのではなく、違いを認め合うことの美しさを歌います。

Kneeking Records（ニーキング レコーズ）は、辞書の旅を音楽で表現するレーベルです。 設立者は、書道家であり辞書の旅人であり元キックボクシング世界王者でもある佐藤嘉洋（さとう よしひろ）。 2013年から辞書の旅に出て以来、ほぼ毎日読み、書き、呟き続け、2025年それらを基に音楽も生成するように。 辞書の旅の記録は、今もなお積み重ねられています。 ジャンルは、Reggae、J‑POP、R&B、Soul、House、Gospel、Funk、Ska、時にはPunk Rockまで多岐にわたり、言葉のリズムも大切にしながら耳心地のよいサウンドを追求し、書（calligraphy）から舞い降りてきた天の声を音として仕上げました。 【お問合せ】 brht2007@gmail.com
