Looprider, a pillar of Tokyo's underground heavy rock scene, is proud to announce the release of their third full-length album, LOVE, arriving globally on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.

Marking a decade since their inception, LOVE serves as both a "love letter" to the band's ten-year journey and a definitive "farewell to innocence." It is the most spiritually demanding work in the band's discography, capturing a hard-won evolution of sound and soul.

The lead single, "Havoc," tackles the universal friction between idealism and reality. Rather than wallowing in the pain of past scars, the track transforms the contradictions of an unfair world into a catalyst for change. It is a powerful statement of intent from Looprider, documenting the arduous process of finding an "endearing world" within a "lonely" one.

The road to LOVE was defined by radical change. Following the departure of longtime guitarist Haruka in early 2025, founding member Ryotaro took a scorched-earth approach to the recording process, handling all instruments except drums. Working in a stoic, concentrated partnership with drummer Ryo7, Ryotaro distilled the band's creative essence into its purest form.

Looprider is also thrilled to announce the official addition of Tacchi as the band's new guitarist and vocalist. Her arrival has brought a surge of positive energy, allowing the band to fully realize the "intricate twin-guitar ensemble" that defines Ryotaro's vision. Now operating as a powerhouse three-piece, Looprider is entering its most formidable era yet.

To capture this new chapter, the band reunited with longtime collaborator Taka Kubo (Studio CHAOSK). The production prioritizes "high-resolution raw heat." By eschewing metronomic click tracks, the recording captures an organic, breathing groove that ebbs and flows with the music's emotional peaks. The result is a multi-layered soundscape where massive, crushing walls of sound are interwoven with delicate, fragile textures.

The title LOVE encompasses the full spectrum of human connection-from pure affection to hatred and loss. While the band has long explored themes of spiritual death and rebirth, this album finds Looprider standing amidst the rubble of a flawed world, stubbornly reaching for the light.
