The seventh in WITHDOM's series of official covers of classic songs is the immortal 'First Love' (original music: Utada Hikaru).

Included on the album 'First Love', which was released in 1999 and has sold over 8 million copies in total, this classic song has been covered by numerous artists including Hideaki Tokunaga, JUJU, Boyz II Men, May J. and Chris Hart.

WITHDOM's cover of 'First Love', a milestone in Japanese R&B, has a sound arrangement that gently envelops the sadness with a piano and comfortable strings that follow the original song.
The song begins with harmonies and the lead vocals each sing the sadness and bittersweetness of a lost love that wells up in the heart, and as the second half progresses, the harmonies and chorus work express the growing emotions, making it a soulful song that is well worth listening to.
