    Based in Tokyo, Shiro Shinigami is a Japanese folk singer and rapper. He began his music career in 2004 under the name "Shinigami," performing acoustic guitar and vocals, drumming with vocals, and incorporating Butoh dance into his diverse live shows. In 2018, he changed his stage name to "Shiro Shinigami," and in 2019 released the album Sayonara Heisei. Since 2021, he has also been active as a rapper, releasing the rap album Dokuhaku in 2024.
