Inspired by his own battle with chronic nausea due to poor health, KANU's new single "DOKU" features his friend Keizo Mori on vocals and beatmaker chupacabra, whom he met through "Jinbocho Sound Share."

Departing from the positive themes and pop-infused beats of his previous work "command+New," this track sees KANU shifting gears. Over a sharp, solid Boom Bap beat, he pours out his long-suppressed emotions and delivers a powerful statement of intent.

    An employee at KAYAK Inc. (Funny Corporation Kayak) and a rapper. His work spans both corporate projects - such as writing lyrics for a Web video starring ORANGE RANGE - and personal creative pursuits. He was inspired to start rapping in 2021 after seeing ZORN perform live at the Nippon Budokan. He is currently based in Kamakura and Ofuna, active in songwriting and live performances. His signature style relaxes listeners through relatable lyrics, humor, and good vibes. Driven by a desire to enjoy rapping more than anyone else, he pursues expression that connects directly to everyday life.
