Lyric

I woke up late

I lost my socks

I burned the toast

I broke the clock

I made some coffee

Spilled it all

I tried to clean it

Broke the wall

My wife said, “Honey, take out the trash!”

I said, “Okay!”

Then went back to bed

OH NO! OH NO!

Here we go again!

I’M A USELESS HUSBAND!

YEAH! YEAH! YEAH!

I’M A USELESS HUSBAND!

Every single day!

I try!

I fail!

I mess up everything!

I’M A USELESS HUSBAND!

But I still wear my ring!

HEY! HEY! HEY!

I washed the clothes

They turned out pink

I cooked some eggs

The kitchen stinks

I went to buy

Some milk and bread

Came home with chips

And beer instead

My wife said, “Did you get the milk?”

I said, “Oh…”

And scratched my head

OH NO! OH NO!

Here we go again!

I’M A USELESS HUSBAND!

YEAH! YEAH! YEAH!

I’M A USELESS HUSBAND!

Every single day!

I try!

I fail!

I mess up everything!

I’M A USELESS HUSBAND!

But I still wear my ring!

HEY! HEY! HEY!

I forgot our anniversary

But remembered my favorite band’s new CD

I lost the keys

I lost my phone

I lost the remote

Inside my coat

My wife said, “What am I gonna do with you?”

I said, “I don’t know…”

“But I love you!”

ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!

I’M A USELESS HUSBAND!

YEAH! YEAH! YEAH!

I’M A USELESS HUSBAND!

And I’m here to stay!

I try!

I fail!

I’ll try again tomorrow!

I’M A USELESS HUSBAND!

The king of household sorrow!

HEY! HEY! HEY!

My wife just smiled

And shook her head

Then handed me

The trash again

I took it out!

I DID IT RIGHT!

…

I left the front door open all night

OH NO!
