One last train beneath the street
One last rhythm, soft and deep
Windows fade from gold to gray
Night has less and less to say
The towers keep their little lights
Like promises they hold all night
But nothing needs me at this hour
Nothing calls me from the dark
Let the avenues run late
For a while, the city can wait
The city can wait
The morning can wait at the gate
I don't need to follow the noise
I don't need to hurry my heart
Let the skyline turn away
Let the moon decide the time
Everything will find its place
The city can wait tonight
A blue reflection on the floor
A quiet coat beside the door
The room is breathing with the rain
Every sound has lost its name
I used to race the coming day
As if the dark would slip away
Now I know the night can stay
Long enough to make me whole
Let the avenues run late
For a while, the city can wait
The city can wait
The morning can wait at the gate
I don't need to follow the noise
I don't need to hurry my heart
Let the skyline turn away
Let the moon decide the time
Everything will find its place
The city can wait tonight
All the lights I couldn't reach
Look more beautiful from here
The city can wait
The morning can wait at the gate
I don't need to follow the noise
I can listen to my own heart
Let the skyline turn to gray
Let the moon release the night
Everything will find its place
The city can wait tonight
The city can wait

A Little Light for Tomorrow
MarkCafe Tokyo
Morning Finds a Way is the second album in MarkCafe Tokyo's Soundtracks for Better Days series, written, composed and fully produced by MarkCafe Tokyo. Across sixteen songs, it follows one day in Tokyo - from the first train before sunrise through quiet morning streets, a canal-side afternoon, blue hour, rain on the journey home, coffee after closing, a midnight window and a small light carried into tomorrow. MarkCafe Tokyo created the album concept and narrative, wrote and composed the songs, and directed each track's scene, vocal character, tempo, instrumentation, structure and emotional movement. The production also involved comparing multiple versions, requesting revisions and section repairs, selecting the final performances, sequencing all sixteen tracks and conducting the final quality review. AI was used as a supporting production tool, but this is not an untouched collection of automatically generated recordings. The completed album reflects MarkCafe Tokyo's human authorship, detailed creative direction, editing, selection and emotional judgment.
