Over the course of one year since the beginning of our activities, we launched a project titled "Origin" - a collection of songs created during our time as high school students, brought together into a single body of work. This album stands as the culmination of that project.
This release represents the "First Movement" of Anytale - a defining chapter that captures our journey as teenage musicians. Since the release of our first single "Stranger" nearly a year ago, we have been steadily shaping our sound and completing a total of eight tracks. Each song reflects our growth, experimentation, and the honest struggles we faced along the way.
"Yugamu Signal," unveiled for the first time on this album, focuses on one of the defining challenges of modern life: the difficulty of communication in the digital age. The frustration of feelings that fail to translate through screens, and the distortion of emotion in online spaces, are expressed through intentionally unsettled rhythms and contemporary language that mirror today's complex connections.
Another cornerstone of this First Movement is "Ark." Rearranged as the Origin Ver., the track reintroduces the piano from its original demo at the very beginning, adding new emotional depth. Deeply colored by the inner conflicts of vocalist Reiji, this song stands not only as a highlight of the album, but also as a guiding piece for the future of Anytale.
A High School Rock Band by Reiji and Ryota Formed in May 2023 in Fukushima, the band began its activities with the goal of performing at their school festival. Since then, they have been actively performing live, mainly in their hometown of Fukushima. In September 2024, aiming for more serious activities, they strengthened their focus on creating original songs and further developing their band. In March 2025, they will take a new step forward with the release of their first music video, "Stranger" Currently, they are working on an art project to compile their final year of high school into a single album. Through music and visuals, they aim to capture the memories of their youth and leave behind something meaningful before graduation.
