"Where the Shadow Stands" is a song about someone who has carried unspoken feelings alone,
unable to be honest or vulnerable, until meeting a person who gently finds them and pulls them forward.

Simple words like "thank you," "I'm sorry," "I was lonely," "I was scared"-
all the things they wanted to say but couldn't,
piled up and turned into quiet isolation.
Trusting someone felt frightening, and even kindness was pushed away.

even when rejected, slowly began to soften the frozen heart
and led those hidden feelings back into the world.

This song tells a story of the courage to trust,
and the quiet salvation found in finally speaking the words that could not be voiced before.

    Just as music became my place to belong, I want my songs to become a place for someone else. I am Misaki Akizuki, a singer-songwriter performing with just an acoustic guitar. Through songs that embrace weakness and inner conflict as they are, and a style of performance that stays close to those emotions, listeners have described my music as "unforgettable" and "something that redefines what acoustic performance can be." I began writing songs in 2015 and have since performed across Japan. A street performance video in Osaka has surpassed 550,000 views on YouTube, and in 2019, I successfully held a solo concert that sold out with 50 attendees. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, I continued my activities, being selected in the THE FIRST TAKE audition and the TAKASAKI MUSIC FESTIVAL 2026 organized by TAGO STUDIO, and I keep challenging myself. I want to prove, through my music, that it is possible to keep moving forward while carrying pain and uncertainty.
