TYC is a Japanese "City Pop" band from Toyocho in Koto Ward, a vibrant urban city in the Tokyo bay area. Their second album, marking their return after three years, showcases four new tracks alongside their three most recent singles. All of their songs, including the Sibuya-kei song "The way west", feature their own original lyrics centered on their hometown, accompanied by a boundless sound that incorporates a variety of genres such as jazz, soul, bossa nova, and more. Their signature sounds called "Koto City Pop" continues to thrive as it progresses to the next stage.

    TYC is a Japanese "City Pop" band from Toyocho in Koto Ward, a vibrant urban city in the Tokyo bay area. The band was formed in 2018 by two local musicians and their session crew. They released the debut album "Toyocho Suite" in April 2021. They are transmitting "Koto City Pop" which is inspired by the scenes cut out from the city.
