June

"Letters to the Seasons" is a new piano project by Rui Fujishiro, releasing one piece every month from June 2026 to May 2027, each named after its corresponding month and inspired by the changing seasons and emotions they carry.
The first chapter, "June" is an ambient / neo-classical piece inspired by Japan's rainy season. Blurred city lights through windows, mist-filled air, and flowers soaked in rain - within a season where everything loses its sharp outline, the piece expresses forgotten memories, as well as the quiet beauty and comfort found in nights protected by the sound of rainfall.
Like pages from a diary, Rui Fujishiro transforms emotions of everyday life into piano music - a letter to the rain, and to the feelings encountered in June.
