This is a song on Pink Floyd's eleventh album, The Wall (1979). The music was composed by guitarist David Gilmour, and the lyrics were written by Roger Waters. Gilmore's guitar solos which made this song famous was faithfully performed by Kent on this cover. Needless to say, this was originally arranged by Kent himself. You might say that this is a final complete cover of the song for fingerstyle solo guitar arrangement.

    2003年3月、大阪生まれ。5歳でギターに触れ、6歳のときに押尾コータローの演奏に衝撃を受け、ソロ・ギターに傾倒。 　2015年、12歳でデビュー・アルバム『First Step』をリリースし、世界的ギタリストのトミー・エマニュエルらから絶賛される。 　2017年、「Fingerpicking Day 2017全国大会」でグランド・チャンピオンを含む3冠を獲得し、同大会の最年少記録を更新。同年8月にはトミー・エマニュエル東京公演でスペシャル・ゲストとして出演。 　その後も国内外で活躍を広げ、2021年にはアメリカの大手音楽出版社Hal Leonardからギター楽譜集『Kent Nishimura’s Fingerstyle Solo Guitar Songs』を出版。 　2023年には香港でのソロ公演を成功させ、同年8月にはクリストファー・クロスが自身の公式Facebookでケントの演奏を絶賛するなど、世界的な注目を集める。 　2024年４月にはカナダ出身のソロギタリスト、ドン・ロスとの共演ツアーを行い、全１１公演を成功させた。 　圧倒的なテクニックと独自のアレンジセンスで、国内外の音楽ファンやアーティストから高い評価を受ける、次世代のフィンガースタイル・ギタリスト。
