The Hungarian Radio Choir was formed in 1950. Its repertoire encompasses all fields of classical choral music, including a cappella works, masterpieces from the opera and oratorio repertoires, from the Renaissance to the present day. Its concerts include works by both classical and contemporary composers world-wide. Since it was founded the Choir has participated in countless radio and television recordings, and has made more than 80 discs.
The Budapest Symphony Orchestra (BPSO) was founded in 1992 by members of the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra (HRSO) for projects and activities outside their usual performance and broadcast duties. Over the years, BPSO has provided wonderful orchestral colors for many classical music, film, and television productions.
Chisa Tanigaki is an award-winning soprano singer, born in Kobe, Japan. Currently, she is active in Germany and widely throughout the rest of Europe. She earned bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees at Tokyo University of Arts (Japan) and a second master's degree at Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts (Germany).
