Yohei Nishi, a music composer who is a member of the pop band Balconny, which is based in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan and has produced and provided numerous songs, has started selling songs rearranged using AI under the new name westman8.

City pop is something westman8 has loved in real time, and this time we have collected songs with a city pop feel from among the songs he has rearranged.
He focused on "decades," imagining the characteristic sounds of each decade from the 1970s to the 2010s and creating songs sprinkled with those elements. There are nostalgic city pop songs with a crisp bass and horn section cutting through them, as well as songs with a stylish atmosphere of the new electric piano sound of neo-city pop, making for a wide range of genres.
I want you to experience the city pop created by "westman8", which uses AI to reinterpret old and new city pop, and puts it together in a selfish way. Also, as an experimental approach, I have included songs that show what happens when the same lyrics are used with different voices, arrangements, and melodies, so I hope you enjoy them.
