From the moment we're born, we keep growing.
Even when we face huge walls, the way we choose to see them can change how close we get to our ideals.
The dreams and hopes we hold are often far from reality.
And the older we get, the more we understand how reckless they can seem, so we sometimes avoid them.
But chasing an unreachable ideal has nothing to do with whether it matches our reality.
If we allow ourselves to want it-if we focus on it-then we've already started moving forward.
That's the kind of honest life I want to live.
[Inspi+] is a production team that focuses on following inspiration and expressing sincere intuition, rather than creating something that is generally preferred by someone.
In 2014, Sayuri Kusanagi won first place in the Solo Division of the National Gospel Koshien competition. She has since appeared on television, performed singing roles for overseas animations, worked as a hotel lounge singer, contributed to recording sessions as a backing vocalist, and served as a vocal coach. In Côte d'Ivoire, West Africa, she was recognized as "the only Japanese artist who can sing in the local language" and received offers to perform with percussionist Oswald Kouame. Together, they appeared in local concerts, television programs, and radio shows. Alongside her solo career, Sayuri launched the duo project inspi+ with guitarist Yoshiro Makimoto. Their genre-defying musical style and her soulful voice continue to captivate a wide audience.
