This work was produced entirely by NEOM, who handled the engineering myself. It expresses the struggles and solidified determination felt as one transitions from student life to society, as well as various other nights, through sound. What makes it distinctive is that it transforms the anxiety and hope that everyone undoubtedly feels at night into sound, without being pessimistic. Additionally, the guest artist, Roma from Kicktea and 109 in the neighboring town of Hirakata. The jacket design is handled by Reo Shimotani, who serves as both producer and DJ. In conjunction with the digital release, fellow artist Tomoya Hirayama directs the music video for ,Taste-less Gum, marking my first solo music video. A live performance is scheduled for August 17 in my hometown of Neyagawa.

    NEOM / Neon Hailing from Neyagawa, Osaka, NEOM launched his career in his mid-teens, wielding a signature mellow flow and a versatile style that transcends the boundaries of traditional hip-hop. He is a lyricist who candidly articulates the subtle emotional nuances of daily life that often remain unspoken. For his 2nd EP, NEOTERIC, NEOM spent a year immersed in production at local studios in the United States, capturing his shifting perspective within a foreign culture. His 3rd EP, Lethe, centered on the theme of "oblivion," featuring artists from his neighboring town of Hirakata and Saitama, showcasing his ever-deepening worldview. Following the 2025 release of his 4th EP, Tezukuri no Tsuki, his creative momentum has shown no signs of slowing. In April 2026, NEOM joins forces with beatmaker zyagyo from Hirakata for their latest collaborative project, OYUGIKAI. Now establishing a unique position as a "Rapper-Engineer," NEOM not only performs but also handles the engineering for his own works and those of his peers. By balancing intricate acoustic design with razor-sharp lyrics, NEOM continues to bring a fresh perspective to the Japanese music scene.
