"Return to the Origin" - A Journey Into the Depths of Sound
At EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai, from May 5th to 7th, the exhibition "The Contours of Future Shoes" by renowned shoe artist Noriyuki Misawa will feature the ambient drone piece "Return to the Origin."

This composition explores the concept of "evolution through regression", illustrating not just technological progress but a return to essence across time.

Using the Jew's Harp, an instrument resonating with primal vibrations, and the subtle rhythms of flowing blood, reversed and processed with delay and reverb, the piece intertwines the pulse of life with the echoes of past, present, and future.

What defines the shoes of the future?
Perhaps they are not merely new designs, but rather a woven tapestry of past footsteps and memories.

Tradition and innovation, the pinnacle of craftsmanship, warmth and minimalism - all converge in this audiovisual experience.
Step into a journey back to the depths of sound alongside the exhibition.

Exhibition Dates: May 5-7, 2025, at EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai
