Festival chants of "Yoisa Yoisa" and "Wasshoi" collide with pounding taiko drums, Japanese flutes, and dancehall vibes as strangers gather, dance, shout, and gradually lose the boundaries between them. Forget the world beyond the circle-tonight belongs to the living, and the celebration doesn't have to end.
"Koyoi Wa ni Naranai ka" ("Won't You Join the Circle Tonight?") transforms the communal tradition of Japanese festival dancing into a wild, modern sound-system celebration.
