This piece is the first in the *Avatamsaka Sutra* series, in which Saku explores the sutra through her own unique words and music.

The *Avatamsaka Sutra* presents a magnificent worldview:
countless worlds, countless lives, and the myriad workings of Buddhas
are not separate entities isolated from one another;
instead, they resonate and reflect each other at a profound level,
unfolding together as one vast, unified world.

In this series, rather than explaining complex doctrines,
Saku expresses the world of the *Avatamsaka Sutra*
through Japanese-style EDM, shamisen vocals, and visuals
as a vision of the world unfolding before her own eyes.

"The Unfolding of the Lotus Treasury World" serves as the gateway to this journey.
Countless worlds dwell within a single flower,
and landscapes or lives that seem worlds apart
are, in reality, connected deep within.
This opening track captures that initial sense of wonder found in the *Avatamsaka Sutra*,
as well as the feeling that the world is not closed off,
but rather opens ever deeper and further outward.
