Monday came with another deadline
Tuesday disappeared in the rain
Wednesday felt like forever
Thursday was just more of the same
Friday finally opened the door
I left my jacket on the chair
No more meetings, no more numbers
No more pretending that I care
I don't need a fancy place
I don't need a perfect night
Just turn the music up a little
And let me feel alive
Saturday night, we're gonna let it go
Saturday night, turn up the radio
We may be older, but we're feeling alright
Come on, baby, it's Saturday night!
Saturday night, leave your worries behind
Saturday night, we're running out of time
We got one more dance, one more drink, one more ride
Come on, baby, stay with me tonight!
The years have left a few more lines
Around my eyes and on my face
But when that old song starts playing
I swear I'm twenty-five again
You laugh and say I'm getting crazy
I say, "Maybe you're right"
But there's something about the weekend
That makes everything feel right
We don't have to chase tomorrow
We don't have to prove a thing
Tonight we're leaving all the heavy stuff
Outside the door and letting freedom in
Saturday night, we're gonna let it go
Saturday night, turn up the radio
We may be older, but we're feeling alright
Come on, baby, it's Saturday night!
Saturday night, leave your worries behind
Saturday night, we're running out of time
We got one more dance, one more drink, one more ride
Come on, baby, stay with me tonight!
Tomorrow can wait till Monday
The bills can wait another day
The world can keep on spinning
We're gonna dance the night away
I've worked hard for every gray hair
I've earned every line on my face
So tonight I don't want to be older
I just want to feel this way
Saturday night!
Saturday night!
Saturday night, we're gonna let it go
Saturday night, turn up the radio
We may be older, but we're feeling alright
Come on, baby, it's Saturday night!
Saturday night, leave your worries behind
Saturday night, we're running out of time
We got one more dance, one more drink, one more ride
Come on, baby, stay with me tonight!
Saturday night!
We're still young inside!
Saturday night!
Let the good times ride!
The sun will come up in the morning
And Monday will come soon enough
But tonight is ours, baby
And tonight is more than enough
Saturday night
Saturday night
We're still alive

Eight Million Winds
Route62
Eight Million Winds is the fourth album by Route62, exploring the many faces of Japan through six distinctly different musical styles.
From sophisticated City Pop and elegant 80s-inspired pop to funky disco grooves, soulful melodies, psychedelic rock, and a grand rock opera, each track offers a different sound and atmosphere.
Inspired by Japan's landscapes, seasons, memories, and timeless spirit, the album moves freely between light and darkness, nostalgia and energy, intimacy and grandeur.
Six songs. Six different worlds. One journey through Japan with Route62.
