しまうまが走り出した
二人はいつも一緒に遊んでた
たてがみのあるライオンは
しまうまに自慢気に吠えた
しましまのあるしまうまは
ライオンを追い越し走った
神様は二人を見て微笑んでた
ある日噂を聞いた 昨日の大雨で
川が怒って海が現れたと
海を知らない二人
正体を突き止めようと
二人そろって川へ出掛けた
「一番大事な物を交換して
お互い守ろうよ海は怖い奴かもしれない」
たてがみを差し出したライオン
しましまを脱いだしまうま
二人はお互いを見て笑い転げた
たてがみのあるしまうまは
ライオンを見て笑った
しましまのあるライオンは

神様は二人を見て笑っていた
海は岩も草もスベテ飲み込み
二人の知らない世界が広がっていた
恐る恐る近づいたその時
ライオンが足を滑らし海の中

With a grandfather who was a livestock farmer and a childhood spent in Africa, Karen grew up dreaming of working at the famous "Mutsugoro Kingdom" and even once aspired to be a dolphin trainer. Her deep love for animals-especially cats-has been a constant source of inspiration throughout her music career.
"Animals" is a compilation album that brings together some of her beloved animal-themed songs along with several new tracks written specially for this release. From acoustic ballads and upbeat pop to club music, rock, and sweeping cinematic arrangements, the album showcases the full spectrum of Karen's musical expression.
