Blue Sapphire

Kinami

Can't feel enough love online

Feeling solo so low in your mind

No baby that's no real timeline

Don't feed the lonely grime

Just wipe it ease your mind

Like Blue Sapphire

You can count on me

If you let me try

How do I say the right words

To make you smile

How do I dry your tears and

Make your frown go upside down

How do I say the right words

To make you smile

How do I wipe your fears and

Melt your guard like

Blue Sapphire

Oh baby baby

IMH4U, IMH4U, IM, IMH4U, IM

Oh baby baby

IMH4U, IMH4U, IM, IMH4U, IM

Yeah I just wanna read your mind

When you're drowning in blue

I'll hug you tight (Hold tight)

You and I are quite alike

Yup!

Cry now Neptune eyes

It's alright to be not right

It's your fight (U know know)

But I'll be on the sidelines

I'll say this twice

How do I say the right words

To make you smile

How do I dry your tears and

Make your frown go upside down

How do I say the right words

To make you smile

How do I wipe your fears and

Melt your guard like

Blue Sapphire

Oh baby baby

IMH4U, IMH4U, IM, IMH4U, IM

My baby baby

IMH4U, IMH4U, IM, IMH4U, IM

You can just be yourself

(How do I, how do i)

Let the rain feel your realm

(How do I, how do i baby)

Remember sweet Noelle

(How do I, how do i)

She'd always be herself

(How do I, how do i)

Maybe if you believe

Maybe if you see

That you're the right one

To make a difference

Maybe if you believe

Maybe if you see

That you're the right one

How do I

How do I say the right words

To make you smile

How do I dry your tears and

Make your frown go upside down

How do I say the right words

To make you smile

How do I wipe your fears and

Melt your guard like

Blue Sapphire

How do I say the right words

To make you smile

How do I dry your tears and

Make your frown go upside down

How do I say the right words

To make you smile

How do I wipe your fears and

Melt your guard like

Blue Sapphire

How do I say

How do I dry

How do I say

    Kinami

X Factor Okinawa Japan Top 9 contestant, Kinami, is a bilingual indie-pop singer-songwriter known for her catchy hooks, seasoned melodies and story-telling lyrics. Through the influence of Okinawan, Japanese and American culture, her musical style and expression belongs on international waters.

Kinami's debut EP "Gojiai," translated to "self-love" reflects the facets of herself that have challenged self love. With tendencies to be selective, she's naturally suppressed undesirable traits to please others, thereby herself; but through the making of "Gojiai" realized the liberation of self-acceptance. In hopes to shed light to this journey, Kinami delivers a 5 song EP with various sub-genres to reflect versions of herself she's learning to love. With her debut single, and mental health awareness song, "Blue Sapphire" accumulating over 19,000 TikTok video creations and earning a Japan-wide placement in over 17,000 convenience stores, the anticipation of her debut EP is weighed on a world wide scale.

Kinami's newest track, and first heartache ballad, "i was ur girl" highlights her soft airy vocals, and wave-like background vocals that'll put you in a daze. While drifting in white lies and overconfident lyrics, the irony of her loneliness wakes with each chorus. Challenged to accept reality, "i was ur girl" becomes a mantra and lifeline to not look back. Perfected for late night drives, Kinami's debut ballad is anticipated to soundtrack time alone.

Navigating through outdated patterns, Kinami comes to share and start her era of "Gojiai" by presenting herself as is.
