Darkness

This song is about me facing the darkness inside myself while being swallowed by loneliness and anxiety in the night city. I don't know what the right answer is, and even though I pretend to smile on the outside, I'm constantly struggling inside. Still, even while being tied down by past wounds, there's a part of me that keeps moving forward without stopping. I refuse to stand still in the darkness, and I push back against the negative voices around me. I can't see the future, but I believe I have to carve out my own path. Even if I can't see the light, I keep searching for it, carrying all my doubts and weaknesses with me, and choosing to keep moving forward no matter what.
