This is scatterbrain's 3rd full-length album released after a series of 5 song releases starting with "awake" in January 2023.
Sound production is by Makoto Gomi(sphere/ZEPPET STORE), continuing from the previous album "heavenly".
Guests include TJ (Mizu no Naka de Uchuu)/Atsushi (YUNOHANA) on guitar, Yuki Nagata on piano, Asamion Nagata violin, and voice actress Aya Gumazuru as a featured artist on "06 frozen nightmare".
The sound is colorful and based on alternative/grunge/shoegaze styles, with synthesizers and electronic sounds playfully introduced.
In '01 rabbit dead', inspired by the rabbit hole in Alice in Wonderland, the story begins with a lullaby covering the night. Reminiscent of 80's New Wave sounds such as The Cure and a-ha comes '04 floral wings', "06 frozen nightmare" with an industrial sound reminiscent of a cold labyrinth. The Brazilian beat of '09 billion butterflies' is a magnificent number, which then segues into '10 awake', an epilogue to a new world. Waking up in the next world, "into the colors" closes out the colorful dream world tour.
The words "dream" and "night" are scattered throughout the songs like hints, asking questions of the listener. It may be that the stories in this work reflect the hearts of people like a mirror at turning points in their lives, whether it's pandemic and war, marriage and childbirth, or any of those other fateful encounters that make up a life in this world of ours.

They are an alternative rock band consisting of Kenta Sakuragi (Vo&Gu), who lives in Kumamoto Prefecture, and Yuki Nishimura (Ba) and Yutaka Miura (Dr), who live in Tokyo. They weave introspective and fantastical lyrics and vivid melodies with a heavy sound based on 90's alternative rock, grunge, and shoegaze, and each song spins its own "story. The songs, filled with pain and prayer, seem unrealistic at first glance, but at the same time, they get to the core of human emotions and warmly embrace the listener's heart.
