Life ain't always what it seems to be
They'll never know what you mean to me
It's been over a year, still hard to believe
Always looked up to you like the stars we see
When I came into your fam, you made me feel right
Time's so fast, damn, this is real life
When we heard the news, it felt like a steel knife
We're gonna let it hurt until it heals right
Cuz no one is you, it'll take a long time
From what we went through we had a strong tie
Don't worry, we're fine, gonna keep it till the end
This just a goodbye till we meet you again
How's life in heaven, I bet you like what you see
It's time for us to water the new seed
Now your daughter's gonna give birth to my first son
I'ma dedicate to you, this is verse one
We never leave cuz no one's ever gonna truly die
The cycle repeats in the circle of life
We never leave cuz no one's ever gonna truly die
The cycle repeats in the circle of life
We never leave cuz no one's ever gonna truly die
The cycle repeats in the circle of life
We never leave cuz no one's ever gonna truly die
The cycle repeats in the circle of life
Remember when I met you for the first time
Wanted to show you that I was worthwhile
I was a little nervous you might have your palms out
But on the surface, made myself calm down
You were kind then I breathed a sigh of relief
Felt like you trusted in what I believed
I gotta make you proud of me, whatever it takes
Never let 'em look down on me whatever they say
Life ain't easy, so I reach for my goals
It's when I get lost that you speak to my soul
Feelin' like I'm blessed, we know you smiling down
Things that you left, now I'm finding out
Since you've been gone, these moments feel long
So I made a song that we can sing along
Reminisce the old days and put my hands in the air
It makes me relax cuz I know you're up there
We never leave cuz no one's ever gonna truly die
The cycle repeats in the circle of life
We never leave cuz no one's ever gonna truly die
The cycle repeats in the circle of life
We never leave cuz no one's ever gonna truly die
The cycle repeats in the circle of life
We never leave cuz no one's ever gonna truly die
The cycle repeats in the circle of life
Pourin' out some Henny on the ground for you
In this ocean of lies, you never drowned the truth
Only a real man can raise his kids
I'ma show you my whole plan through the game I spit
I finally understand how you felt for your little ones
As a dad, I'll bring wealth to my little son
And I'll love him till my days are done
His smile gon light us, it'll replace the sun
I wish he could've had a chance to hold your hand
We can never blink, he'll grow so fast
And someday he'll leave to plant new seeds
Then he gon notice what's life and its true meaning
I know the reason why we were born to die
We're all the same in the morning light
The sun always shines and shows us how to rise
Start again when it ends, it's the circle of life
We never leave cuz no one's ever gonna truly die
The cycle repeats in the circle of life
We never leave cuz no one's ever gonna truly die
The cycle repeats in the circle of life
We never leave cuz no one's ever gonna truly die
The cycle repeats in the circle of life
We never leave cuz no one's ever gonna truly die
The cycle repeats in the circle of life
