Rain Index is an ambient work that interprets the intensity and density of rain, as well as the passage of time, as a sonic index.

Delicate piano tones intertwine with electronic textures that blend seamlessly into environmental sounds, forming a structure that presents not so much a melody as a subtle shift in atmosphere itself.

Rather than asserting itself, the sound is designed to gently accompany quiet urban nights, rainy interiors, and moments when one s thoughts turn inward.

By reducing the number of sounds to an absolute minimum while allowing elements of chance and fluctuation to remain, the piece aims to evoke different landscapes with each listen.

Beyond functioning as background or listening music, Rain Index is conceived as a composition that affirms "moments when nothing happens," intended to be played back quietly and without demand.
